Wi-Fi login pages in hotels, airports and cafés

Many public networks make you accept terms or sign in on a web page before anything works. Do that first, then connect.

When PryVPN says “Sign in to this Wi-Fi first, then connect.”, the network is holding every connection until you sign in on its login page (a captive portal).

  1. Tap Android's Sign in to network notification, or open Wi-Fi settings and tap the network's name.
  2. Accept the terms, or enter the room number or code the network asks for.
  3. Go back to PryVPN and tap Connect.

If the login page doesn't open while PryVPN is connected, tap Disconnect, sign in and connect again. With Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN on, the page may not appear at all: turn Always-on off for a moment, sign in, then turn it back on.

When it asks again during a session

Some networks sign you out after a while, or every day, even while PryVPN is connected. PryVPN notices that the network is showing its login page again and asks you to sign in, instead of switching servers. Open the page, sign in, and PryVPN carries on.
