Delete your PryVPN account

You can delete your account at any time. The quickest way is in the app. If you no longer have it, use the form on this page with your account number.

In the app

  1. Open PryVPN.
  2. Go to Settings › Account › Delete account.
  3. Confirm. The app signs you out and removes its local data.

What gets deleted

  • Your account (we only ever store a hash of the account number).
  • The app's sign-in tokens on all your devices.
  • Your devices and their public keys, which are also removed from every server.
  • Which server held each device's key.
  • Invite codes you haven't used; codes you already gave out are unlinked from you.
  • The per-day network counts used to spot shared accounts, and any pending notices.

What stays, and for how long

  • Daily totals with no identifier, such as the number of sign-ups, which can't be linked to you.
  • Backups: deleted data disappears from the server's backups within 14 days, and from our offline encrypted copies within 30 days.
  • Your email on the early-access list, if you joined it: it isn't linked to your account. Use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.
  • Diagnostics you sent aren't linked to your account either; they're deleted after 30 days.

Enter the 16-digit account number. We don't ask for anything else, and we don't tell anyone whether a number exists.

16 digits. It's in the app under Settings › Account number, or wherever you saved it.

Anyone who has your account number can delete your account, so keep it private.

Your browser does a small anti-spam check first. No tracking, no third-party captcha.

Prefer email?Write to privacy@pryvpn.com with your account number. We'll delete it and confirm, usually within a day.
