Open Settings › Account › Delete account and confirm. This deletes, right away and for good:
- your account, so its account number stops working,
- every device registered to it, and their keys on all our servers,
- your sign-in sessions and any unused invite codes.
After that, nothing we hold is linked to you. The daily totals we keep to run the service, such as the number of accounts deleted that day, never contained your account.
Our encrypted database backups can still hold the deleted account for up to 30 days, until they're replaced. They're only used to restore the service after a failure.
Uninstalling the app doesn't delete your account; it only removes it from that phone. Server profiles you imported are stored only on your phone and go away with the app.
Diagnostic reports you sent were never linked to your account, and they're deleted automatically after 30 days.
