- No data cap, no speed cap. When a server has room, everyone gets full speed.
- Heavy use is only shared, never punished. When a server is full, bandwidth is split per person, not per connection. Web pages, calls and games go first; someone downloading for a long time gives way a little, and only while the server is full.
- A few devices at a time. Up to five devices of one account can be connected at once. An account is for one person and their own devices.
What we slow down, and for how long
- Ports used mostly for abuse, like outgoing email on port 25, are always blocked.
- Behavior that looks like an attack, such as scanning many addresses, guessing passwords or flooding one target, slows that device down for 2 minutes. If it keeps going, only web browsing works for 30 minutes.
- Both end on their own and leave no record. An app on your phone can cause this without you noticing; if it happens often, check which apps you have installed.
Don't use PryVPN for spam, attacks, malware, fraud or illegal content, or to resell or share access at scale. Accounts that do can be suspended. The full rules are in our terms, and our abuse page explains how abuse is handled.
