What's new in PryVPN

Every notable change, in plain words. The newest is at the top.

  1. PryVPN speaks your language

    • The website is now in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French and Japanese.
    • Fonts are served from our own server: pryvpn.com no longer makes any request to Google.
    • New pages: a live status page, this changelog and a help center.

  2. Stopping abuse without logs

    • Our servers now stop spam, scans and attacks on their own, by how a connection behaves, never by what it contains.
    • A public abuse report form and a quarterly transparency report.
    • Creating an account takes a small anti-spam check on your phone instead of an email or a phone number.
    • Up to 5 devices of one account can be connected at the same time, and each server shares its bandwidth fairly.

  3. More reliable, and easier to trust

    • The website shows live server status instead of example numbers.
    • The early-access list uses double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm your email.
    • The app sends diagnostics and crash reports only when you choose to.

  4. The first network

    • Our own WireGuard servers in Frankfurt and Montreal.
    • The Android app, with Smart Location, Stealth mode on TCP 443, ad and tracker blocking, split tunneling, pause and a Quick Settings tile.
    • Device keys are made on your phone and rotated automatically.

  5. PryVPN takes shape

    • The seal: an open ring while you're exposed, closed when you're protected.
    • The first version of pryvpn.com and of the app's design.
