PryVPN works on phones and tablets with Android 8.0 or later.
- Open PryVPN and go through the short introduction. It explains what PryVPN protects and what it doesn't.
- The first time, your phone solves a small sign-up puzzle to create your private account. It keeps bots out without asking for an email, and usually takes a few seconds.
- Allow the VPN connection when Android asks. Why Android shows this warning.
- Tap Connect. When the seal closes and the screen says Protected, your traffic is encrypted all the way to the server shown.
Two things worth doing now
- Save your account number (Settings › Account number). It's the only way to use your account on another device, or to get it back after reinstalling.
- If you want PryVPN on all the time, turn on the Kill Switch.
