Open Settings › Split tunneling and turn on Use split tunneling. Then pick a mode:
- Exclude selected: the apps you choose connect directly, outside the VPN. Everything else is protected. Useful for banking apps or services that refuse VPN connections, Android Auto, or casting to a TV.
- Only selected: only the apps you choose use the VPN. Everything else connects directly.
Changes apply right away, even while connected.
Apps outside the VPN use your real IP, aren't encrypted by PryVPN and don't get ad, tracker or malware blocking. The network you're on can see which sites they reach.
The list shows the apps that have an icon in your app drawer. Anything that isn't on the list follows the mode: protected with Exclude selected, direct with Only selected.
